About the Course
This course is for participants who are interested to explore and begin using Microsoft Power BI.
Course Introduction
Learn Power BI, a powerful cloud-based service that helps users to visualize and share insights from their data. This is a practical course with minimum technical IT / database jargon. Participants will learn by completing several exercises and hands-on project.
Course Objectives
After completing this course, participants should be able to:
· Understand the difference between Power BI and Excel
· Get data into Power BI from multiple data sources
· Edit, transform and load (ETL) data using Power BI Desktop
· Perform simple data modelling and understand basic DAX functions
· Create basic visuals that provide insights for analysis
Prerequisites
This course does not require any prior knowledge in using Power BI
